Yep I'm with the majority. Get a manual I'm sure you'll love that you went through the extra effort.
Geez you guys are a bunch of girls about your cars. "My lady better not even look at my car, let alone drive it! Oh the horror!" Lulz

^^^^^LOL.

What happens when you GF dumps you after you purchase an auto to please her?
Thought of that?
Even if you were married or in a long term relationship, get the car you want since it will be yours and the one driving it.

As far as the theft deal, it is fishy indeed...
No one knew the thing was stolen until it got to you?
I don't buy that.

Get your money back and start over somewhere else.
Good luck.

Will prob go with the man trans. Every mustang I have owned has been a man trans. I know I could be happy with a auto, but they just seem to have more things that can go wrong with them. As for trying to please her, LOL I never consider any of them long term even though been with this one for 4+ years. Have had bad luck with past GF driving/wrecking my trucks. So prefer they don't touch any of my vehicles. For the stolen part, ya the dealer in my opinion has been to quick to "resolve" the problem. I think I'm going to just get a check from them and keep looking. Gives me more time to plan for future build.

I don't regret getting an auto. Not to mention my left leg wouldn't be able to handle a clutch due to injuries, but even if it wasn't permanently damaged, I still wouldn't regret driving an auto.

As for OP, get what makes you happy. If your GF really wants to drive it, then she'll learn how to drive a manual.

This. I've mostly had manual cars, and my GF likes them, but can't drive them. In fairness, I'm probably a poor teacher as I get frustrated. But I've offered to pay for a pro to teach her, and she just doesn't want it enough to learn.
