Great, I should have them in about a week. I now have my (Brand new) MT ET Street's for sale. 245-40/18's.

Well, checked everything out. I need a .120 (I should have it Friday) spacer to clear the caliper face. I have about a 1 inch space between the top of the tire and the bottom of the fender lip. Should be okay but, I'm going to add a set of air bags (just to use for the track) I have to make sure the travel on a launch is not going to rub. I don't think it will, going to test it in my driveway (wife will love that) as soon as my spacers get here. Turned out I only spent $380 for the slicks and wheels delivered.!

Good deal. I run an air bag in the passenger side spring only. When you launch these cars, that's the side that wants to squat.

How many pounds of air to you normally run in air bag?

Also, are your front runners 15's? I'm looking into what to run on the fronts. Bias ply, radial, size and so on for just the track.

12psi, but you can't go by that because I have a full suspension and, most importantly, a BMR extreme antiroll. Before installing the antiroll, I ran as much as 30psi and set my rear shocks differently. My recommendation is start high and drop psi until you find the sweet spot.

Yes, my front runners are 15x3.75" with 26x6x15" Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R radials. I run the skinnies on the street and on the track. If they were drag-strip only wheels, I would run a 26x4.5" bias ply.

My track rears are 27x11.5x15" Hoosier QTP bias plys on 15x8" rims.

My street rears are 28x12x15" Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R radials on 15x10" rims. (Swaybar had to be relocated to fit these.)

Lots of people will say you should never mix bias ply and radials, but I know a TON of racers who run street radials on the front and bias plys on the rear at the track.

I tested the new slicks out in my driveway, launching it at 4k no rubbing at all. The slicks sticks out about an inch or so past the fender lip but I'm not worried about it, it would hit the bump stop before the tires (my car is lowered 1.5 inches). I may try and get a set of air bags just to be safe for the track only. I ordered the front skinnies from Summit and tires too with a 3/8 spacer. Should be here next week.

VERY NICE! That's about how mine sits on the slicks. My advice is to get rid of the bump stops and get some good adjustable schocks. Landing hard on the bump stops can kill 60' times. That was the first issue that made me start building my suspension. God damn this gets expensive, and it never ends... lol

Good deal. Those shocks will come in handy when you start dialing her in.
