Well I think I have got it under control. It was that corner seam. Its tough to see in there but I did about six water tests and the cab is good and dry. Going to do a few more tomorow and if everything is good start putting it back together. It took almost a entire tube of auto goop but I think thats it. Also I got another Cowl from a junk yard for $25 bucks not too bad.

I hope so. I wanna start looking into the more fun things like a CAI and tune. Water is a horrible thing when it comes to your cars interior. I removed the old sound mats and will be replacing them on installation. Rain is only half the worries as well. It was taking most water on days I would wash it. I could not drive it in the rain and be OK but I have to wash it.

Your still on the stock tune? Your gonna fall in love all over again. When I was stock I loaded in a brenspeed tune and cai......man my car came alive. Would chirp second and third gear with the auto trans. Call AM or brenspeed and you'll be stoked.

is this a problem with all early s197s? ive never noticed any leaking in my car... makes me wanna tear open the cowl panel and inspect in there
