Default 3vstangs 5.0 build

Well never thought I would have traded my car in, especially after all the time I put into it, on a 5.0 none the less. This isn't really a build for now, just a spot to keep everything together. Anyway, Anyone who stumbled upon my previous build would have noticed all the time and work i put into it, in fact it wasn't finished. But I came across this a couple weeks ago and couldnt pass it up. I pulled just about everything off my 06 minus some little ****, and put all the stock stuff back on. So the new ride. It's a 2011 gt, 6mt, 3.73s, ingot silver, 9300 miles. I really like this thing. A couple pics.

I barely drove the old car, I want to drive the hell out of this one. Already put over a thousand miles on it in a few weeks. I'm going to keep this pretty stock for now. I've only put on my billet Lcas, ultralites in the rear, I deleted my resonators, and bought a set of jegs cat deletes. It sounds great, And it's a blast to drive, the power is more or less everywhere, not comparable to my 06, but I wouldn't expect it to be in stock form. What do you guys think?

How I ran the car for about a week. I pulled the mid pipes to delete the resonators but I loved the sound so I kept it that way for a little.

Looks nice. Lemme ask, what is th epurpose of that sound tube. I didn't want to yank for fear of a CEL or other issue.

Fords moronic idea of bringing the sound of the motor/intake in to the cabin of the car. I just did it to clean up the engine bay. If you pull it you need to cap off the hole on the intake tube, and (optional) plug the hole in the firewall.

They sell kits online for about $20, but I just fabbed up my own.

Cool... I ask because it impedes the install of hood struts, and if it isn't technical, it will get pulled.

A couple pics of my cat deletes. I didn't want to tune this car yet, and rather than spending $400+ on a tuner and a tune just to clear a CEL. I stacked a set of spark plug non foulers, drilled them out, and put them between my mid pipe and my O2 sensor....No CELs. $6 solution FTMFW!

Also disconnected that dumb skip shift the first week I got the car. I couldnt find too many pics so I figured I'd post one. Looking straight up on the passenger side there is a small plug coming out of the tranny. (i already disconnected it in this photo) I just pulled it out and secured it to another line somewhere. Hopefully this is helpful to someone, to show them what they're looking for.

You should expand that Spark Plug CEl solution into a How To Manual.

I tried the defouler trick with 2/side (it worked on my old eclipse)...it's still throwing codes on the mustang...need to use 3 you think? out of room though.

Did you drill them out? What's your code? It's probably an inefficient code because the sensor is now starving for air rather than getting to much.

I have no CELs.
