Yeah ford had told me $400 for there's but i heard they weren't the best. Ive seen the PA ones from AM before, looks like good stuff. Ive heard its a good idea to get a power wire kit, but if i go with a 130amp alternator (which i assume is more amps then stock, i have to research that) would that be nessesary? I can understand if I needed the extra power boost but i dont. I appreciate all of your opinions, means alot.

Correction, they are stronger alternators apparently.

All the replacement alternators say 130-135, so I believe that is close to stock. I don't think the wire upgrade is necessary.

Your cars electrical system uses DC current. Your alternator produces AC current and then converts it to DC. AC current running through the system can cause all kinds of crazy crap. With the throttle body being right above it, it probably effect the electronic throttle.

Yeah, it will come back. Mine was off and on for months. I could go weeks with no light, it would show up a day, go away for a day, etc.

right. It will eventually quit charging, but I wouldn't wait for that. AC voltage is no good for you electrical system. It could fry your ecm if it were severe enough.
