Default Need help appraising a low mileage 05 GT for a friend...

Hello guys,

I havent posted here in a while as I now currently drive a 650RWHP 03 cobra, but I'm in need of some help from the community...

My neighbor knows a guy that is selling his 05 Mustang GT Deluxe, one owner, stock, with ONLY 7,000 miles. That's really all I have on it now. I'll get more info ASAP.

With this limited info given, any idea on what the car is actually worth? I figure it would be a great car to do some heavy mods, or even just keep stock

Thanks for any help guys, I really appreciate it.

My wife just bought a 05 Legend Lime GT with the deluxe package. Car is in excellent shape with 40,000 miles, few mods. She paid 13k.

An '05 in very good condition should go no more than $12k-$13k from a dealer. I'd think private party can be had for $10k-$12k.

The Deluxe is actually the base model. The Premium has add-ons. I bought an '06 V6 Pony Premium with 9k miles, immaculate condition, in early '09 from a Ford dealer for $13k.

Nuke this has has got me wondering as the dealer listed ours as the premium package. I just did some research and the info I got was, only the premium had the power seat option. Now mine has the power seat and the interior package so I wonder if the one I bought was listed wrong.

That's always possible with used vehicles.

If you want to get a market appraisal go to edmunds.com or kbb.com and put the information in. That will tell you the market in your zip code.

Premium has leather. I don't think you could get a premium without it, but you might have been able to order a deluxe with leather.
