Was able to figure out what happened with the keys. Or the most likely reason the dealership could find. Looks like the original keys it came with could of been lost, then for some random reason it was re-keyed and they just happened to be Boss keys. So not a very exciting resolution but it is what it is.

But does the idle change with track key like you stated in the first post?

It sounds like it does, but the keys not activated unless you have the dealership do it. Only way to tell for sure would be a dyno test I guess.
