Default 2012 GT with noise in trunk

I have got a 2012 GT with a "thump" sound coming from the rear whenever I go through a dip, turn into the driveway, go around a corner, etc. Nothing loose in the trunk (jack, tire, lug wrench). Nothing loose on the exhaust and rubbing or striking anything as axle flexs. Any thought or ideas? Yes I have searched. Everything I came up with was on or in the front.

I thought there was a seizing problem with the lca bushings. Loosen and retorque your ph bar is a start.

I wonder if replacing the rear LCA's will take care of that?

Funny I was getting some clunking that sounded like it was in the trunk. Turned out one of my axle weights was loose and banging around. Guess I didn't tighten it good enough when I put it back on. Not even sure it needs to be there honestly.

Hi mapitts,

You sound like a DIY kind of person, but you should always feel welcome to make an appointment at your dealership. They'll be happy to assist you. Additionally, I can look into your concern as well; send me a PM with your VIN, dealer, mileage, daytime phone number, and full name. I'll get to work!

Crystal

Take it off and you will be putting it right back on
after you take a drive with it off...

Right now, work is wide open for me. If I can get a weekeknd off I will get it up and start looking around to see if there is anything else that may be loose or shifted. I had really rather deal with it my self than take it to our local dealer if at all possible. No offense Crystal. May end up that route though.
