Default Exhaust Mods?

I am stuck between the choice of the SLP Loudmouth Exhuast and the SLP Powerflow Exhaust, for my new black 06 GT, if anyone knows the pros and cons of each that would be cool, thanks

I have the SLP loudmouth also. I really love the sound. To me its not loud enough at idle so I'm considering x-pipes too. I would like to know how much louder thay will be with or without cats. I do not want to add headers at this time. I hate having to replace collector gaskets.

hey ratzila, go to the pypes web site. the sound clips are real close. if you go with the x-pipe, i have the off-road one, it will be substantially louder. but it does sound pretty good. by your pipe from brenspeed. good price, fast shipping.

That sounds great. When I get ready to order them I will buy them from brenspeed. Did you have any problems installing them or cel problems.
Thanks for the info[sm=icon_rock.gif]

ratzila, very easy install. i put the car in the garage, put it up on jackstands, put a cd in, and before the cd was over i was done. i have put about 100 miles on the car and no lights. i put all three o2 sensors back in too. seems to be fine. i think it is a little too loud for where i live though. but if you dont have any concerns like that, i say it is money well spent, and very easy to do.

JT I ended up placing an order yesterday from brenspeed. I will take it to a friends shop that has a lift to do the swap. I hope its not too loud with the slp loudmouths.[sm=icon_rofl.gif] Oh the neighbors are gonna hate me. [sm=lildevil.gif] Thanks

i also have the loudmouths... the best sounding exhaust for the 05 in my oppinion... just a good growl at "around town" speeds... but watch out when you step on the loud pedal...

Question for you guys... I'm new here but was wondering about the Pypes "The Beast"... It's the off-road x-pipe and axle back system. I don't have the money for a programmer and the exhaust. I am simply wanting a more aggressive sound from my car ('o5 GT) and was curious if you could get a MIL Eliminator to run the off-road pipe? If so, where can I get it?
