Default DFW Driveshaft problem

Some vibration in my driveline. My mechanic agrees it's a bent/out of balance drive shaft. Nothing else is apparent after examining the underside of the car.

Well, he pulls it to take it to a DS shop, because he can't spin it at his shop, and no one he takes it to says they know how to. Never seen one like that.

WTF.

Ok.

SO.

Anybody have any shops in this area that KNOW what a mustang DS looks like and HOW to balance/unbend/replace it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Well here's my issue. NONE of these shops have the right...I dunno, I'll call it a "jig" like they did, the right jig to hook up to the six bolt end of the rear CV.

If the aftermarket DS has the same jig, not a more standard u-joint or the like, then I can't balance it either.

And I don't ever want to be back were I am right now. Which is with a bent drive shaft that I can't do ANYTHING with.

NO one will fix it, and I either need to pull one from a junk yard, or buy a new DS. Even my local Ford dealer refers me to shops that say they can't fix it.

WHY Ford?

Why Ford?

Well, looking at the Shaftmasters 3.5 inch bolt on, it uses U-Joints, front and rear. That means that IF anything happens, it can be balanced again.

Or with Shaftmasters reputation, possibly replaced.
