I've bought my share of used cars, and the 1st line I always hear from the sellers is "I'm not selling it for less than $xxxxx". But like clockwork they ultimately caved when I produced a copy of the Edmunds price, plus a little negotiating.

Haha, I don't have an issue negotiating by any means. In fact I'm probably awesome at it but in this particular case it is a fellow that I work with and do not want to disrespect him by low balling. I would like to pay what it's worth...no more...no less. The car is really nice and taken care of, i see it every day. I would rather not buy someone's else's problems or an abused pos. if I didn't know the car it would be a totally different story.
