Default Seat recline lever issue

I've broken off both of my upper reclining levers on the front seats in my 06 gt. I think it's a really stupid design because I barely even abuse them whenever I flip my seats up. All I did was accidentally hit it upwards with my hand one time and it was just done for.

How much do they cost? I suppose I can get them from the ford parts website, but is there any other way, like maybe a dealer would have them even though my car is 7 years old?

Breakage of that part is pretty common. Quite a few have complained but I couldn't tell you where to get replacements other than to try Ford. These S197's aren't a Lexus, you know...

I've broken them off a bunch of times I think the ford oem part is like $50, but you can get better metal aftermarket ones.

its ridiculous how easy it came off though. I'm having trouble finding replacements too. I went on the Ford parts site for OEM stuff and cant figure out where it is on there (if it even is).
