Unique Brand Swap

Unique Brand Swap
I am fairly well rounded with cars but need your experience.
My Question is subjective so I prefer experienced feedback and frankly any negative.
I own an M3 and am thinking about switching to a GT. My primary objective is comfort as my seats hurt my back (and my back is bad) While my plans are to rent one for a week to test comfort I generally find domestic seats more comfortable (My back likes wide soft seats without much or any lumbar at all)
I know I have asked this before(other forums) and many will say I've driven 400 hrs straight without issues but I'd like to know if there are any issues and especially from people with bad backs.
I am also in the hunt for a change to avoid costly repairs and prefer more tq. The only downside I see to date is mustangs dont seem as unique and lots on the road.
Likely a GT with track pkg. Must have option suggestions welcome.
This is not my DD
Thanks for your help

The new ones keep up with the m3 fairly well. Getting the car with power seats is a must for the adjustability you will need to find the right settings. Probably getting recaros is out of the question. Cheapest option is going to be what lx388 said.
As far as "uniqueness", yes there are a lot of mustangs on the road, but depending on the area you stand a very good chance of having one that stands out. I have yet to see a car exactly like mine, and rarely see a gt in kona blue. Also, just as a comparison, there are BMW 3 series all over the place, you see them almost as often as mustangs. Unless you go with an exotic you will see other cars like yours all the time, nothing can be done about it. Screw being unique and just make sure it's yours and the way you like it.
