Default FRPP Valve/Cam covers on 2007 GT?

Anybody replace their stock valve/cam covers with the FRPP valve/cam covers, if so was it a pain in the rear or is it fairly easy? Would you do it yourself again, or would you just have somebody else do it?

I took mine off of my 2009, sanded, primes, and painted mine. Cheaper than buying cam covers and only took a good couple of days to do it. I did it just to have something to do. In your case I would not worry, a couple of hours & some black RTV will get it done. I painted mine Ford blue. On my '12 I have painted my soil covers Ford blue. I could not see letting go of $80 when I could paint mine just like they did for $8.
