Borla S-type catback Ordered
Just ordered the borla s-type catback from my '13 5.0 from americanmuscle.com and again customer service was great from them. They even priced match from 1250 to 1150. I just wish I could have still applied the forum discount but I know that was asking too much. Had to try though. Now it's just a waiting game. I do have a quick questions though. I did a brief search but didn't see anything, but could someone point me to a how-to for the install? i would like to try this myself. I know i don't have a whole lot of tools but I can make the decision to try it or not once i see what all it takes to install it. I appreciate the help.

The biggest problem is really getting the rear of the car up high enough to be able to work under. Remember that the front will roll. Not calling you stupid, just want you to be alive to be able to tell us how much you enjoy them. I removed the hanger bolts first and left one in just finger tight. It is a little of a squeeze I will say that. After that just loosen the flange bolts and worry it off. Same way going back together. Align them so they set straight and the same distance from rear valance to tip and yer done. Coming from a stock exhaust to these, you are really going to love them!!

Its not hard to do, you may have to loosen the mid pipe, shake it a bit loose and loosen all clamps behind that, remove stock mufflers, put new mufflers on , tighten clamps after aligning the tips etc..
I did it with a friend multiple times with no lift, on a driveway.

Thats what my buddy did with his Boss. Loosening the mid pipe is key
