Default Spartas First Mustang Build

Hello everyone this will be a place to follow my build process on my 2009 Mustang GT. This is my first mustang and its been a dream of mine to own one since I was a kid. Here is the link to my introduction I posted on the Welcome section when I first joined.

This pic is right after I bought it from the dealership.

Here are two pics of the first mod

Thanks for looking, and I'll keep everyone posted on mods as they come along.

That is a beautiful color, congratulations! I would suggest a handheld tuner. It will really wake your Mustang up and allow you to take full advantage of any other mods you might put on! A mod without a tune is just a decoration.* Is it a manual or automatic?

*Oversimplified, but generally applicable to engine mods.

Its a manual, and I have been seeing that a lot on these forums. I definitely want to get one, in fact that was going to be my first mod. My cousin owns a shop and he gave me a killer deal on the CAI so I had to take it first lol. Also thanks for the compliment on the color, and to be honest I love the color of your ride as well.

Good man, enjoy the ride! I can't wait to see what you do with her, and thanks!

thats a great color!

I agree, a tuner is needed to get the full potential from the car

also just for your FYI, idk how deep you want to go into mods, but the 2009s Charge motion plates are integrated into the manifold, not separate like the older cars, so the CMDPs wont work or fit

Well damn that really sucks. I'm glad you told me that because I had the "Steeda Billet Charge Motion Control Plates" on my build list from American Muscle. Is there any other option I have?

Steeda makes a plug kit for 2009's that you can use instead of the delete plates

Just ordered "Pypes Pype-Bomb Axle-Back Exhaust" I'll post pics of install, and maybe a sound clip once it arrives. Next on the list is. "Diablosport InTune Tuner"
