blown piston some questions
well as the tittle says im currently running my 5.0, with a vortech supercharger some id1000 inyectors a boost a pump. i swapped the pully to a size down and what do you know my pistons gave out. my tuner is telling me its was caused because i ran out of fuel. So i had to mill my block and .010 bigger and add some forged manley pistons 11 to 1 comprression. and went back to the original pully, which is giving about 8 psi so my question is what to do or what to install to have a better fuel system that is capable of more horsepower. I believe that with the forged pistons it should be good to withstand more boost.

Your piston gave out? Did you break a rod, crack/shatter a piston? Hopefully you replaced the rods at the same time, can't imagine anyone just replacing pistons.
The gt500 dual pumps are good to 600rwhp, more with dual boost-a-pumps.

Did you burn the piston in cylinder #8 or melt more than that?
Like Moose said - GT500 pumps are the way to go. If you still need more, then add a dual BAP too.
You have to monitor Fuel pump duty cycle and the injector duty cycle, using any more than 80% of either one at WOT is asking for trouble.

Interesting info on FI and injectors/fuel mass (not volume), etc...
