Default Squeaky Brakes!!

I have a '13 5.0 nearly every time I slow down with or w/o braking I hear a squeaking noise coming from the front end of the car.. Any idea as to what is causing this?

So your not 100% sure if its breaks or something else causing it? Is it only early in the mornings by any chance? Mine does it early in the mornings but I live in Seattle so it only does it while they are wet and stops once the breaks heat up.

Hello jhomi85,

I recommend you all make an appointment with your dealer and have them check it out. Then, PM me with your VIN, dealer, full name, mileage, and best daytime number so I can escalate this to the customer service manager of your area.

Figured it out.. I recently installed a K&N cai, and 1 of the screws came loose on top of the airbox.. Tightened it down and the squeak is gone.. Mf

That would have gone bad at the dealership.
They would have found the squeak you
introduced into the vehicle with your aftermarket CAI.
You would then have to pay the diagnostic time it took
them to find the squeak as it would not be covered under warranty.
