Default Boot

I have the Bullitt 5 spd. shift boot with the bright aluminum bezel around the base. I would like to switch the fake leather boot out to one made of alcantara. The web site says it must be glued in place. How hard it this? Has anybody done it? What kind of glue would I use? I'm guessing it can't be all that tough.

I'd just use some 3m spray adhesive. Just clean the bezel with alcohol and spray both pieces. give it a minute to tack up, or whatever it suggests on the can before joining them.
