Installed new FRPP gt 500 exhaust tonite!
Really happy with the purchase. Install wasn't as bad as I expected, glad my car is garaged in winter as I had minimal corrosion. I really like the sound, very aggressive but not obtrusive. Now I have to get my FRPP CAI and bama tune installed and go for a cruise

Great choice for the axleback! Love the sound of the GT500 mufflers, it's one of my favorites. Also, have let me know what you think about the Bama tune. I think you'll be equally impressed!

Really like my Gt 500 axle backs. Mellow idle sound, really wakes up under accelleration, nice gurgle on decelleration and nearly stock sounding in 5th and 6th gear maintaining speed, best of both worlds and still turns heads.

Solution:
If the vehicle has a Roush, Saleen, or Ford Racing flash on the computer. It will need to be custom tuned by one of our custom tuning Dealers.

I take it you're not the Original owner? Was the car tuned before you got it? THe Ford Racing calibration would be the FRPP Procal tool available for even a stock vehicle I believe....
Thinking about this further, you didn't happen to update the firmware on your device AFTER you got it from AM did you? I've read a lot on this forum and others where people were updating the firmware on their SCT device and running into problems when trying to upload their tunes.
The firmware update has nothing to do with the 05-2010 stangs. It has to do with 2011+ and the 5.0 L.

SCT was able to sort it out. Turns out the device needed to be updated. I use Mac computers so I had to dust off an old windows laptop that I had in order to do the update. just about done. Now I will head out to the garage and try again.

Tune is uploaded and I couldn't be happier. The 91 octane race tune really woke up my car. It really generates a smile. Now with the exhaust my car doesn't look like a rottweiler and bark like a poodle lol! happy all around.
