srt8 challenger , any thoughts

Default srt8 challenger , any thoughts

i got a modded 07 with no power adders , my buddy has an r/t challenger but wants to upgrade to an srt8 for our little race at summit point race track , it will not be a drag race but anybody know if i got a chance , i got 360 rwhp and suspension updates while he is completely stock right now

i hope i put this in the right section , anybody got experience against these cars

No track experience personally here but if you're running 360rwhp and suspension upgrades, I personally don't see you having any problem. The Challenger is a boat, SRT8 form or not. It's a heavy heavy car, lots of power but on a circuit track I'd have to assume between the weight and the abundance of corners.... I would think you'd be quite ok against him. However if someone here disagrees with me, don't bite my head off. Just my personal opinion after driving one aggressively on a "closed course" one night.

If you really have 360 at the tire, you should be OK.

But, I really want to know how you have 360 out of a 3V without f/i.

at a track you should be fine considering how heavy that car is. But dont let it fool you the srt8 is a FAST car for how much it weighs

Doubtful you have 360rwhp, but you don't need it to beat that car.

i got a stroked and bored out 4.6 l to a 5.1 l , hahah i got the dyno sheet to prove it and the 360 is with a 91 octane and no windage tray hahah , i have comp cams stage 2 , saleen cold air ( piece of **** ) msd coil on plugs ( i dont think they do anything ) and livernoise cam phasers and my whole exhaust is aftermarket ( bbk longtube , bbk high flow cats , and flowmaster outlaws )

R/Ts are pigs, as in 4010 lbs vs our 3500-ish. My car puts lengths on them and last dyno put down 275 to the wheels.
