Hey guys, need your input once more. I own the 2013 with the 401a package and am getting an MGW short shifter as well as a new shift ****.

For the shifter, should I get the 12mm x 1.25 or 12mm x 1.75 and why? Would one make the **** sit higher over the other?

Now for the boot adapter, because I have the 401a boot with the chrome ring, I think I would need a .75 diameter measurement, correct?

The **** I'm ordering from bangastang.com. Should I go 2" or 2.25" and again, should I opt for the 12mm x 1.25 or the 12mm x 1.75?

Ok, ill try to help.
12mmx1.25 is simply the thread size of the threaded insert inside the ****. So when you order you MGW you choose between 12x1.25 or 1.75. You would get the **** to match the threads of the shifter you ordered. 12x1.25 is the oem size for our cars so i would go with that simply because it makes it easy ot order another shift **** down the road its just the same as any regular mustang shifter.

I cant help you with the 401A shift boot adapter as i have just the regular boot/adapter.

as for **** size, do you have big hands? yes? go for the bigger one. the ***** that CJpony parts sell are 2 1/8" so they are right in between so either way should be fine. or just get the smaller one so save the $5.

Thank you very much! I suppose I'll opt for the 2" **** over the 2.25" then. Keep an eye out for a black .75 adapter (like the ones from Grabber Pony)
I think it would look pretty badass with the chrome ring on the bottom and then a white ball with black super snake stripes.
