Clutch issue
#11
Wow, nice mileage!
Anyway, my master cylinder's trunnion that attaches to the clutch pedal had worn down and snapped in half. Prior to it happening, my clutch felt similar to how yours is.
If you feel like it, I'd suggest popping the retaining clip off of the clutch pedal, gently slip the trunnion off and get a few photos of it. As it's plastic, the hole in the trunnion becomes more cam shaped than perfectly round. It also loses strength, cracks and eventually goes pop. It's worth checking out though.
Once I changed out my broken master cylinder, it felt like a different clutch, smoother and better (probably to do with the seals being nice and new...)
+1 on no to WD40, it isn't nice for plastics and rubber...

Thanks for the help everyone. I think I'm going to spray a little lithium spray in that thing and see what happens from there.
Any know of good clutch tests? I still think something's different about it.
