Default Clutch issue

Whats up everyone. Im noticing something weird with my clutch on my '06 GT. I drove it Saturday 7/13 and it was fine. Right before I pulled in my driveway I rolled over a deep pot hole doing like 5mph (scraped my front bumper little bit and i think the K member).

It stayed for 2 days undriven and then last night I noticed a light squeaking as you move the clutch pedal, and it also feels like it isn't engaging as early and it's a little harder to press (maybe the last two are just in my head). Could the pothole have messed up something to be causing this?

Did the pothole look like this?

It's possible that something was shifted with a hard jarring but it's also possible that the clutch is getting to the point of needing replacement and it coincidentally happened then. Was your foot on the clutch when you hit the hole?

Lmao no it wasn't that bad.

At the time, the clutch was engaged and I think in second doing a slow roll because I was tailing the guy infront of me for driving ridiculously slow for 2 blocks.

How does the pedal feel and where is the squeaking coming from?

The squeaking is inside the car as it moves up and down, if the radio is on you won't hear it. Feels a little rough like there's resistance while it moves. The car runs fine, but idk if it's just in my head or not- it feels like the clutch is engaging a bit later.

My slave cylinder/throw out bearing went bad at 65K miles and I had a mechanic replace the whole clutch assembly with OEM parts. With the new clutch installed, I noticed the clutch pedal squeaks when pressing down. You can't hear it when the radio is on. I checked with the mechanic and he said it was normal for the OEM clutch to squeak a little. So far so good!

I only have 20K miles on my '06. The owner before me drove it long distances back and forth to work. I only put on 2,000 miles since I've owned it for a year now and they're mostly city, so I doubt the clutch is bad. Maybe it's something very minor like a little wd40.

NO WD40!!! What garbage. Try a little lithium grease or some other spray lube but not WD40. It'll dissolve what little lube may already still be there.
