I understand that the 05-09 Mustang GT 4.6L engines are/ were made in either Windsor Canada or Romeo Michigan, correct? I heard that their is a barcode / code on drivers side rocker panel. I heard it it says RM in code that the engine was made in Romeo Michigan, right? I am trying to help a friend get a GT and he is trying to get one with USA made engine. We were also wondering if the automatic transmissions in these year GT, were they USA made? Just trying to set the record straight. Ger.

95% of Ford car engines are Romeo, as for the 5r55s I'm pretty sure the transmission is USA made being derivative of the 4R55E.
