I want a strong naturally aspirated engine

Okay, so from what I'm getting from you guys is that gears (3.73) and a high flow cats with a stainlessworks headers will probably be the best i can do with my money.
OR
I can wait and do some force induction work on it.

The 3.73's have a good seat-of-the-pants feel. My 13 GT with 3.31's is rather disappointing compared to all the 3.73's I test drove. Maybe just save for the blower if u can wait a while before being able to go stupid fast haha

Good point! My '07 with 275hp to the wheels can't even put that amount down to the ground all that great. OP can make 400+ with basic mods, yet that's not enough so theres talk of supercharging and no talk of puttin it down. Sounds dangerous! Got my car sideways once on a cold freeway just downshifting too hard when passing another car.

I agree! You already have power, all you have to do now is to make your car stick to the ground.

in regards to saving for a blower.... how long did it take to come up with this $1000 for you to spend on the car? think about the length of time it's gonna take to save the money before you decide to go FI. if it's gonna take you 5 years to come up with the $5000 to buy the supercharger, then labor at a mechanic if you're not doing the work yourself, chances are incidentals throughout the years will stop you from EVER purchasing it.
My motto is have fun with what you have. Everything adds up in the end, and one day if you do go forced induction you'll be happier that you had all the other mods to go with it and compliment the supercharger.
While everyone is right in saying your best bang for your buck is CAI/Tune or FI, I kinda get the feeling people forget it's not really easy to come up with thousands and thousands of dollars for forced induction after you get the first few mods.
With that said, I find a lot of people saying that certain mods are not worth buying because you won't feel a difference in driveability. Well, i'd venture a guess and say the majority of us consider our vehicles ongoing projects with no realistic end in sight. In my opinion your best bang for your buck is to get as many inexpensive modifications as possible after CAI/Tune/Exhaust/Cams. It might not net you a whole lot of power but a throttle body is still a GREAT upgrade for someone currently NA with the prospect of forced induction. While you only get roughly 25% of the gains on NA as opposed to FI with a throttle body, $200-$500 is still a pretty small price tag for 7-15rwhp, especially when you consider that it'll roughly double when you decide to go to forced induction anyway.
Saving is always nice but it always depends on how long you're gonna need to take to save the right amount. You might sell the car before you come up with the money for FI, and then the other mods will be a great starting point for someone else to build on.
