well the diffrence was little he was like 2 or 3 meters infront of me..........

It's a CAI & SCT X-CAL package that's what I have and you will not regret getting it. Makes all the difference with 4:10 gears.

A modded anything will can beat just about anything, don't worry about it. If you didn't look under the hood you really can't tell. He probably had exhaust, intake, TB, and gears (very basic and common mods). You were beat by the gears and not the HP I'd say. I just saw an Envoy smoke, and I mean smoke a Lancer EVO. I wouldn't get side by side with that SUV. You just never know.

And it could have been a Bullit. I know the first month I had my car I lost to what I thought was an 03-04 GT. I ended up talking to the guy about a month after he smoked me. He came up and asked if I remembered getting smoked by a red Bullit. I told him no, I didn't, and that I remember all of the cars that smoked me. Then I looked at him, and the car, I could have hugged him I was so happy. Getting beat by a Bullit made it alot easier to swallow!

I know the Mach 1's are fast but the Bullitts only had like 5-10 more hp. I take it he had some mods too though.

well.....i just got back home and i raced a limina ss the new ones i think its a 2004 or 2005 anyway they look the same so from the start my car jumped with a tire squaq and every time i change gears my car jumps infront.....untill 160 kmh or maybe 180 kmh and then the lumina stays with me and starts to get me slowwwly sloooowly like he needed for about 12 seconds to be infront of me or let's say 8 seconds to be near me thumbs up to ford not bad im happy with the results

I just ran my third '03 Mach 1....I keep hoping one will be a challenge. There is always someone with a faster car. But, the Mach 1's that I've raced have not been very close. they are probably right about the gears. i have a sct xcal and a aluminum d-shaft and smoked a GTO this morning going to work. i'll bet he is pissed. i still have the temp tags on.
