Default Brake pad question

I got the 2012 front and rear take-off rotors for my 07 from Roush, along with the 2012 calipers with brackets for the front. I see some places list brake pads as '05 to '12, but checking the specs I see the 05 to 10 and 11 to 12 pads have different part numbers both for the front and rear. Are the pads really different or are they interchangeable?

If you have 2011+ calipers buy 2011+ pads. However, I think they're the same just an updated part number. I have a pair of 2012 take off brakes on my 05.

Thanks, I guess I'll just try on the current pads to make sure, according to the beck brakes page there's a small difference in size between the pads, just a couple of millimeters.
