Where to get transmission parts?
The 2nd gear synchro in my 2006 gt went out (grinding when shifting into second), and my friend and I have a shop to fix it in, but I need som help finding parts. The car originally came with the TR3650, but after twisting the spline shaft due to hard launches with slicks, my friend replaced the entire transmission with one pulled from a wrecked Roush mustang. I don't know if there was a difference in transmissions between the GT and the roush, but either way, I can't find the synchro, and I don't have the $$$$ to drop on a new transmission. Can you guy help me out?

Pretty sure it's the same transmission. I do not know the reputation of this place, but I did find what you are looking for there.

I may need to do this as well. My 1-2 shifts aren't the smoothest either.

I like that kit from "the gear box", because it comes with just the synchros I need and a new 2nd gear, but idk if I need a new 2nd. I was hoping to find just the synchros I need, but I guess I won't. May end up swapping the existing trans for a used one, and doing an upgrade rebuild on the one I have now (26 spline shaft, etc...), but I think I would rather replace the synchro and save up for a beefed up trans. Any suggestions on replacement performance transmissions that won't break the bank?
