I have 87, 89 and 93 Brenspeed tunes (despite your call for BAMA tuned folks). I like to run my 89 tune because it's characteristics fit my driving style. I keep the tuner in the vehicle because I've been on road trips where I could only get 87 octane and was able to load the 87 tune on-the-spot.

I go back and forth between the 93 race and 93 hybrid. Can't tell much difference between either of those 2

Like Nuke, I have Brenspeed 87, 89 & 93 performance tunes. I am running the 93 octane and the car seems very happy. Exhaust sounds great too.

87,93,93

ran the 93 all year up until it got cold out and had to put the narrow stock wheels on for salt and snow n such.. run 87 street for them.. that and the quality of 93 here in indy seems to be hit or miss in the winter time.

Why does the ghost cam tune require 93 octane? I dont seem to understand why they cant put that tune on a midgrade octane tune. I have 87 89 and 91 octane here. or maybe 87, 91, 93....cant remember exactly. also...why on a race tune versus performance or street tunes....

So you guys are saying even though the race tune is really aggressive , its not hard on the engine or transmission?
Nope a Race tune is actually better for your engine and transmission. Everything runs a lot better and smoother with a tune! The Shift points are very quick and firm so it cuts down on friction, which really helps with the longevity of your Transmission.

Let me know if you have any further questions. I think you're really going to enjoy the Bama tune!

Awesome! I'm glad to hear you ordered your tune and the tunes are already complete and ready to go. Enjoy your Bama tune, all you gotta do now is plug and play!

Let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance. Like said above, you won't be disappointed!

thanks dan!

hey guys I been reading a lot of threads on various mustang problems where people get a tune and it causes their #8 cylinder to go bad resulting in a 10-12k repair! (but i think this is only for 2011+ 5.0 mustangs.

so did bama find out what the cause of those problems were? did the people get them fixed? I got a buddy with a 2011 GT and he is deciding to get a tune depending on how mine runs.

I think that is just the coyote motor and I also think the cylinder #8 going bad is a problem, regardless of being tuned or not. I think it's more of a factory flaw than from a tune.
