Bullitt or GT/CS

Bullitt.
I have a feeling that all the extra decoration on the CS may not age quite as well and make the car look a bit 'dated' after a while.
The Bullitt cold air & tune is essentially the same as the FRPP cold air & tune and the setup that was used on the 2007 Shelby GT. It's a very good, if somewhat conservative tune that has better overall driveability than most. It's at its best on a road course or at autocross or other occasional hard cornering where you DO NOT want the throttle to tip in too quickly like the way many of the aftermarket tunes are set up. I've had the FRPP tune on my '08 almost since it was brand-new.

They both have their advantages.
Bullitt:
CAI, better flowing exhaust, 15 more hp, stiffer suspension, lowered, unique 18" wheels, low production numbers, shock tower brace 3.73 gears
GT/CS:
unique front bumper cover, rear cover w/ integrated diffuser, side scoops, 18" chrome wheels, two tone interior, heritage name also they cs has the option of the appearance package with hood scoop and engine plenum cover.

However, I really have a love affair with the Bullitt. I even have a scale model of the movie car.
I drove it when it came out at the dealer and felt that overall it was a very balanced car and loved the exhaust note.
I'm really happy with my 427R, but have that what if feeling every now and then.

If it were me, I would take the Bullitt...hands down! It's an iconic car associated with Steve McQueen! How much more macho can you get, lol. They are way more rare than the GT/CS and more performance orientated, too. The lack of aesthetics, that the GT/CS has, makes the Bullitt look more bad ***. Of course, you'd have to get the Bullitt in Highland Green, if you want to be the real Steve McQueen bad *** wannabe, though, lol.

I like both but for different reasons.
Bullitt has a unique tune from Ford with a little more oomph and in some case other upgraded bits and pieces (different rear gear, upgraded tune, intake, etc). If you get a Bullitt, get it in the Highland Green. Dealer had a 2008 Bullitt on the lot when I picked out my car but it was in Black. Nope.
GT/CS I like the body mods on them. The Front/Rear fascias are tastefully done. I would remove the stickers and side scoops though. Just too much if you know what I mean?
