gears for more torque?

read in a magazine that there are some sort of "throttle plates" that sit between the heads and the intake. Seems these are controlled by the computer and by putting in these pieces that "Steeda" sells, the low torqaue problem can be fixed but you must also get a tune once you install these

I am the friend that 96juicestang talks about. He's right. I talked to the guy that will eventually tune my car and he said he tuned an 05 automatic that ran 9.40's and it ran 8.50's afterwards. In his opinion a custome tune is the way to go. You can tune that "drive by wire" out with a handheld tuner. I don't know if it comes with that tune already in it or not. You may have to get someone program it in the tuner and then download it to your car. If you get a tuner you can go to some places on the internet and plug the tuner in to the computer and download tunes for your car. Then all you do is plug it in to your computer in your car and download it and that's it.
