Default Tuning question

Hi all, I have a tuning question for you. My friend is looking at an 06 GT to upgrade from his v6, I spoke to the previous owner and it has a diablosport 93 tune, but neither the dealer nor the previous owner has the tuner. He will most likely need to retune for MA inspections, so how would one go about getting it back to stock without a tuner? Disconnect the battery? Or is he SOL and needs a tuner?

To my knowledge, reflash at the dealership would take him back to factory settings.

Without the handheld tuner that stored the stock tune, he'll need a reflash back to stock and, to my knowledge, that would be by the dealer. You could always call AM/BAMA and ask, since they supported the Diablosport despite the vast majority using the SCT platform. They MAY have an alternate solution.

Disconnecting the battery has no affect on the tune other than erasing the Adaptive Learniing parameters. This will have no impact on your friends issue.
