Default Need help with purchasing mustang

Hey yall, I am looking to buy a mustang 2013 or newer in less than 3 months. My current car is a pontiac g6 gt 2008. I loved pontiacs but the g8 is no where to be found in my area. I test drove a mustang 2013 GT and it was pretty awesome for being stock, (I love to mod) I have some questions as to buying fro m a dealer. I also and pretty knowledgeable with cars, my dad owns a mechanic shop.

What I'm looking for.
-Less than 30k miles
-Less than $30,000
-5.0L
-year model>=2013
-good condition

1) Anything specific to look out for in mustangs?
2) What is all the differences in the Base GT vs Premium GT?
3) What is a good price to pay within 150 miles of Houston, TX?

Thanks so much for any help or info you may have! I hope to be a Mustang owner soon!

I purchased my 2014 Oxford White GT/CS at Autonation Ford in Katy.

Ask for Chris Blair. He's pretty chill and straight forward. I went in on a Saturday and it was pretty busy so I don't know if trying a week day would be better or not.

BTW he just tossed me the keys and said come back and let me know how it runs.

Gl with the purchase!

Easily doable even with a brand new 2014 GT (i.e. non-premium). I drove off the lot with mine for $28k with nothing other than the tech package and just under 50 miles on the odometer.

1. Used/new, it's not too uncommon for 2013-14 models to take on (and trap) water in the body panels. Make sure the dealer has addressed this with the car you're looking at.
2. Premium models come with the 400A package standard, which includes things like a Shaker audio system, LCD display w/ track apps, ambient lighting, aluminum accents, etc.
3. Really depends on the supply/demand of your area. Maybe check truecar.com?

Should be a easy task these days. Dealers are trying to give away the 2014's. That's why I pulled the trigger a week ago on mine. GT Premium, all the options, track package and Recaro seats. 36k

Just bought my 14 GT premium right off the truck for 31k out the door (almost 39k sticker). If you get a non premium or wait until the 15's start hiting the lot (although you will be looking at left overs) then I bet sub 30k i possible.
