emissions inspection keeps coming back Not Ready
My Virginia emissions inspection report keeps coming back "N" for 3 of the OBD Monitors:
"Catalyst",
" Oxygen Sensor", and
"Heated Oxygen Sensor".
The inspector told me I needed to drive around more and come back. I drove 300+ miles over 10 days time, then went back yesterday (to a different location) and it had the same issue and they said the same thing.
I have 96k miles on my 2006 stang. About 1,000 miles ago, the dealership did a transmission fluid flush, and an accessory drive belt replacement. Last year, I installed a JLT3 CAI, new throttle body, and tune, all from an AM package.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. It's the last day of the month before my tags expire so I need to try and resolve this today :/

Also, I used the Bama tuner with a 93 octane race tune for the last 6+ months. I'm thinking that may be the issue? Switch back to 87 street tune and try again?

Your Bama tunes may have the rear O2's shut off - if so, the monitors will never go ready no matter how many miles you put on it. Better check with them on that.
Is it possible for you to put the stock air box back on and return the tune back to stock? That may be your easiest and quickest solution. Then once you pass the OBDII inspection, re-install the JLT and the Bama tune.

yep the tune is causing the issue. maybe just take the tune off and drive over get it inspected then when its done put the tune back before you leave. As long as you aren't driving far or at high speed I think you will be fine

Thanks! The only 93 octane tune I have is the race tune, so I asked Bama to send me a 93 street tune. Otherwise I have to burn thru a quarter tank of 93. We'll see which happens first. I assume after I change the tune I will have to run the car thru what I've seen referred to as a "drive cycle" to get all the monitors up for the emissions test?

You can drive your car with 93 octane on an 87 octane tune. You can always run higher octane on a lower octane tune, you just can't run low octane gas on a higher octane tune.
So no need to burn through the 93 in your tank before trying your street tune.
