Horn sounds sick/not working right
Anyone have any idea what would cause my horn to stop working right? It's sounds like the lower tone of what usually sounds like a bi-tone horn isn't working. Only the high pitched one is working and it sounds quite ill. Seems like it works sometimes, but it's really itermittent. took the grill out today and looked everything over on the horn assembly, but it all looks fine. Seems like if I press the steering week hub around the outside first, then only the high pitch works. But I don't know, it's just really intermittent.
It's a 2007 Shelby GT with about 25k on it. Ideas anyone? It's really annoying to have a Model-T sounding horn in traffic.

So I tore the horn assembly down and as it turns out the low tone horn just isn't working. I took the lead off each horn and put them both on the high tone horn and both leads will drive the high tone horn, but the low tone one only works intermittently and now hardly at all. Looks like you have to buy them as the assembly, so I guess I'll just order a new one. Can't say I've ever heard of a horn going out on a hard at 25k miles.
