im running some bassanni axle backs that I got off my local CL for 120. I love the sound of them but they do drone a bit at about 2000-2300 rpm. I don't mind as im not constantly in that range much. this is a question youll ultimately have to make for yourself as there is many options. look on your local CL for aftermarket exhaust. go to cruise nights and car shows and listen in real life as sounds and clips you hear on the net don't do most justice. good luck

My buddy has a 05 GT and his flowmaster outlaw axleback sounds amazing.

I think there are hundreds of threads here about exhaust setups and you should read through them as well as listen to clips on YouTube.

I have the FRPP (Borla) Stingers and they really wail when you open her up. BTW, you won't gain any power with aftermarket axle backs and catbacks on these S197's. Just exhaust note improvement.

Love my Roush Axel back. Great sound 3k+, almost silent under 3k.

Are you sure you have the Roush axle backs? Mine are not silent under 3k, not by a long shot. Over 3,500 they roar - and start to get very raspy to the point of sounding like junk.
