Default Exhaust silencers

Hey guys, my GT has an aftermarket H pipe and borla s-types and it is really loud, but on long drives I want to make it quieter. Would these work on the borla s type 4.5 inch tip? And would they damage the engine because of decreased exhaust flow? Also, would removing the cats make a difference if my aftermarket H pipe has 3 inch piping?

I think borla makes a muffler one step quieter than the s-types. You could swap out to that and see how it goes.
