Default Space between headlights and grille

Hey guys, my front bumper cover was getting replaced at a body shop. Im waiting for insurance to pay so I can pickup the car, but I went over to see it and I noticed that there is a huge gap between the headlight and grille. I can fit my fingers through it! The body shop keeps claiming this is normal and they cant move them. Is that true? Ill post some pictures.

Yep, that's how my 14 looks, approx. and it hasn't been hit, not quite as open as these but, close. These are cookie-cutter cars and panel gaps are traditionally horrendous on Mustangs, lol.

Get them to do some paint remediation on that chipped hood edge while they are at it.

Yeah the bumpers don't fit perfect. My 09 got hit a few months back and the stock and replacement bumpers have pretty decent gaps I took tons of pics so I had something to compare to. Plus the plastic tends to flex anyway so even if you could adjust it it would just warp over time anyway.
