Can't do that - the car either has a tune or the stock tune on it. Can't put it back on the stock tune yet leave the CAI, gears, and tire RPM on the car; the "performance" tune is what adjusts the computer for the mods.

can not confirm or deny any of that... Just telling what the horse said...
I got the programmer box right beside me and i may look at what it does before I trade...

But I really wanted a manual cause I wanted to stay away from automatic problems or issues...
Plus the 11 has IRS and what feels like a million more ponies to kick... all seat of pants..

I am old and just want to have a powerful car to screw around with.

What kind of tuner is the "box" that you have? It sounded like you didn't have the tuner in the posts before.

The 2011 has the same suspension as what you are driving now. The IRS came in 2015 on the S550 style. All S197 (2005 through 2014) use the same 3 link and panhard style.

2011 did get the 5.0.

As far as transmission problems, far fewer issues with the automatic. It actually is the stronger transmission. Read the complaints from those with the manual.

Ok... Here are some facts about the tuner I have..
I will allow me to change these things.
Tire size
If it has cold air intake
Line pressure of trans
shift points
RPM limit
MPH limit
And Gear ratio
fan temp when it comes on.

maybe one other thing but I dont recall what it was.

AND it will allow me to do all that without the tune.
There is a screen that says do I want the performance tune installed or factory.. I said no to that.
Then it said would you like to change some other parameters such as tires or intake... I said yes... I allowed me to put the stock intake back on and only take that part out of the extra programing and for rims and gears remained the same.. very slow computer... But it seems to do things that need doing.. So ZERO complaints from me about it..

Now I am having second thoughts about the manual in those years... I want as reliable a car as possible..

Just coming back and after 800 miles of all sorts of driving the stumble has not returned.
It was that tune causing it.
