Default Best stall for 3v

I was wondering what would be the best stall (size company etc) for my 3v. I have detroit rocker cams, longtubes, cai, 4:10 gears, and a custom tune. Soon to have more upgrades though.

I went for a Circle D Specialties converter at about 3000 stall (5R55 Pro Stage III 245mm 2B). The 5R55 is the weak link in our cars. In addition to the converter the trans build used a PA hardened input shaft, deep pan, TCI 3rd and 4th gear servos and Canton expansion tank.

Parts for the build.

I already rebuilt the tranny (good for 600hp) since it went out before, also have a tranny cooler with fan. Should I be okay with just adding the stall?

I too did the same upgrades Scott2 did, and put in a 3000 stall Circle D converter.
Personally, I found 3000 to be a good compromise for both street and strip; any higher starts to be become 'non-fun' in stop and go driving.
