Ok Guys been a while since i have posted but here goes. I have a 2013 gt prem with roughly 53k miles on it. For the last 6 months when I am sitting at a light in traffic or just about anywhere im not moving the idle dips really low into the 100's and the whole car shudders as it comes back to life. Has any one had this happen to them? I use prem gas and always have. The only 2 mods i have are a roush cai and exhaust. When the air conditioner is on it does seem to happen at more frequent rate. I did take it to my dealership but they told me it was notihng. I just find it out because it literally feels like the car is going to die. Thanks much in advance.

Doboyyy, My 2014 GT Premium, with upgrades, and a BAMA tune, does the same thing a couple times a week. Everything checks out on the dyno, so I don't get to concerned. If you had a programed tune in your car I would guess the "cough" is the IAC trying to get back to the OEM tune. If this issue persists, I would consider putting the car on a dyno.

Had similar issues occasionally on my 14. Usually with a.c. on, but compressor does cycle even with heat on. I think it's due to the stupid low idle setting and the emissions tunes these days.. I'd bet a aftermarket tune with bumped up idle would cure. I now have FI and obviously new tune. Idle at 750/800 ish and no issues.
