How to remove exhaust hangers on trans crossmember?
Hello all,
I've had that dreaded rattle under my car for years. Thought it was the spacer plate but nothing I did would fix it. I crawled further under the car and found one of the hangers had been damaged and pulled partially off and was rubbing. Seemed to fix it. I've read that these are not needed so can be removed. I cannot figure out how to get them off. I was able to get the one damaged one off but I want to take the other side off so it doesn't look strange. They appear to have four metal tabs that go into the crossmember but I can't figure out how to remove the good one. I've searched and cannot find anything. Any ideas?
Thanks guys!
