Well, I changed out the front struts, the tie rod ends, and it made a HUGE difference. I was looking for bumps to hit to see if I could get it to make noise... all i could hear was the rattle from the rear shocks. So, avoiding the rain all day already, I jacked up the *** end and did the rear shocks. It is quiet as a mouse and I think I can call this one good. Thanks Mustangers!

Update - I drove it to work today... well, it is *mostly* quiet. There seems to be some kind of loose rattle, seemingly from the mid or rear of the car. I'm thinking rear sway bar links? I'm about out of ideas if this thing won't tighten up.

Yeah, it could be the rear sway bar end links and it's easy enough just to replace the bushings in those with urethane units. You might also want to check the bushings in the LCAs, UCA, and panhard bar. Fortunately there are less moving parts at the rear so the problem's easier to troubleshoot.

Brother, I don't even know what an LCA, a UCA, or a panhard bar are... I'm doing some SERIOUS googling, lol. Maybe there is a kit?
