I am trading in my BMW 330Ci for a new Black GT, and I will say this: Mustang parts are cheap. Example: Dinan Exhaust for a 325i. Dual-in Dual-out SINGLE muffler. $899. I'm looking forward to playing with the V8....

Good Stainless Works 3" muffler replacement. I have heard it and it is bad ***. Best price is through www.dezod.com with free shipping. I just ordered some long tubes from them.

Looks like I have my work cut out ofr me in choosing exhaust. I think I am going to go with the MAC's just from this forum. Also I have a question don't these come with an H pipe from the factory?
does the muffler or the car come with the h-pipe? cause the car comes with an h-pipe

MACs... picked up my Black GT on 12/17 and had the MACs bought on the 16th. Listen to the brenspeed soundclips. MAC reminds me of what the flowmasters sounded like on all the 90s mustangs... awesome. I've been loyal to flowmaster through my past two Dodge Rams and they sounded great. Unfortunately, I think Flowmaster feel a bit short on the new mustangs. They simply don't cut it. Not loud enough, tips are short and goofy, priced too high, and in my opinion a bit raspy on some soundclips. Not the Flowmaster I remember.

I did install the MACs myself lastnight and after breaking two clamps I finally got to start it up. Sound is awesome. Pure deep mustang muscle sound. Taking it out on the highway in NJ... tough. Anyone that has them who has cruised 60mph in 5th gear feels my pain. That drone is LOUD. Cruise 70mph and you'd think you have stock mufflers on.

Final thought... over $350 for any axle back or even catback is a rip. Go buy two mufflers like Flow 40s and have someone custom install them and it will be cheaper. Buy the MACs for quality, looks, and sound. Very little "popping." These cars are real nice... still in my honeymoon phase. Good luck with your choice.
