Well its like this .Nothing is worth what you pay for it anyway. I have a 2005 saleen sc that i payed $52000 for it . No i dont think i got a good deal. I will not believe that it takes $52000 to build it .But i wanted a saleen sc and that what i got .Now im not saying anything bad about the shelby. It nice and i like it but until it comes out and we see how it runs and rides. I dont care if its $10000 . Do you remember when the Iroc Z came out? It was to be the fastest and best value the world had seen.I bet they wish the had never said that.You willnt know how good the value is for at least a year after the cars hit the street. But keep in mind a deal is only as good as you think it is.

No performance mods and they want 36K USED!!!
Good luck getting a Shelby, it will be jacked so far over MSRP you could probably buy 2 GT's by then.
I'd just get a GT and mod it out, mine will be able to keep up with a Cobra come spring, I HOPE!

1. 1/3 of all production is already committed overseas.
2. No deaslership will receive more than three (3) cars of the first run.
3. Most dealerships will only receive two (2) cars.
4. The owner of most of the dealerships will keep one (1) of the cars
5. His friend will get the other one for around 70K
6. They will be kept in garages and/or trailered for show
Bottom Line - You will not get the first year Shelby Cobra so pay whatever saleen asks if you like them. Ford has made 0 announcements on production numbers following the first year so it's not even a safe bet to say you'll get one in 08' or 09'.

I agree with most that it's up to you on what side of the pony farm you live on=) Saleen or Cobra. IMO would want the Cobra in the Sonic Blue like the photos I seen. I would even sell my wife=)

Buy a GT,build a shortblock,put and Saleen SC or KB in it, upgrade the suspension. TURN UP THE BOOST...
And put your name on it..
