I just picked up a 2006, convert, GT, manual, black on black, premium. I'm looking to add some HP to mine. Did you deal with ST Motorsports yet? Jim Click Ford was pushing a 373 rear and Bassini pipes. They want $1,200 for the 373 and $850 for the Bassinis. Any advice? In in Orange County, CA too. Thanks -Richard

$1200.00 for a 3:73 gear, I presume that is install, and that's highway robbery. I install gears for $500.00 with the gear included in the price.
As for the bassanni, Was this a catback system or an X-pipe and catback system, Also was it aluminized or stainless steel? I sell the entire Catted X-pipe and catback kit in stainless steel ( Bassani) for $1,084.00.
The aluminized is much cheaper at $889.00

Go by these prices fr example on an entire Exhaust kit, This is from the Exhaust Manifolds Back.

I tried to get in touch with ST Motorsports this morning - left a message on the shop voicemail (10:30 a.m.), also tried Adam's cell and couldn't leave a message because his vmail box was full. Maybe they were just hella busy.

DynoJoe is very right. Gears should not be anywhere over $600 installed. You need to answer questions regarding exhaust to give a comparison for it.

Also - Adam at ST Motorsports just had surgery on his hand today and is out till tuesday. He is also about 2 weeks back right now. He is worth the wait for southern california customers.

Thanks for the info, chevykillah. I can live without burnouts for a couple more weeks if I have to.

I just tried as well to get hold of ST Motorsports, and getting the mailbox full message? Does anyone know if the number has changed or maybe a different on than above?

Or, maybe another referral in or around the Northridge, Ca area?

Thanks,

Mike

I would wait and have Adam at ST Motorsports put your gears in... Gears are not someting you want anyone to put in. I had him put my 3:73 in and never had a problem, he alos shimmed up my rear diff. ... It never felt so good!!
PM and i will give you his cell or you can call the shop and make an appoitment... He wont be able to do it until his hand heals but John is also good with the Gears!!!
