vortec 99 s/c onto a 06?

vortec 99 s/c onto a 06?
I've heard you can put a votec s/c onto an 06 gt with a 300 dollar kit from vortec. Is this true. the model is a 4FL218-030SQ with aftercooler. Anyone tried this and had success. I've got a SCT-2 tune on the car right now so I'm guessing if this works I would need a new tune.
