Default what do you think???

Do you think that ford will ever change the size of the engine in the mustang? I think it would be a grate idea to make a change. I would like to see in 2007 or 2008 ford put a 5.4 S.O.H.C 3V in a mustang GT. It would be a change for the better, or I could be wrong.

Default RE: what do you think???

if my engine goes south thats exactly what i plan on doing. the only drawback is the 5.4 has a iron block and is at least 100lbs heavier. all 04-up f150's had 3V 5.4 motors so the engine should be easy to find in a scapyard for a good core. and you can stoke a stock 5.4 to 5.8L!! the intake manifold and headers would the only fabwork that i'm pretty sure would need to be addressed. the f150 heads are identical down to the cams so it should be relatively easy swap.
