Man I wish I would have read this before I put mine on. Been having trouble with erratic rpm's after shifting. engine stays at high rev after shifting, say from 3rd to neutral for between 8-24 seconds. I thought it would be a temporary thing until the computer adjusted itself. Everything else seems fine.....I think

Ijust like to say that........... everyone should do more research before buying a product in the first place. It saves a lot of time and money. And as far as downing the trottle body........ just because one didn't work doesn't mean all of them don't work. Right???? Is there anyone esle out there that are putting them on and using a tuner to correct any problems that can put some words on this??? I'd just like a little more information than one person saying it don't work. I would like to know for my self.

Pretty common knowledge that the aftermarket TB's do absolutely no good. There are umpteen posts on this at themustangsource.com. Simply put, unless you are doing extreme forced induction, a larger TB than stock is useless.

I'm not so sure that they're NO GOOD.....but there sure seem to be a good number of people taking that stance.
Surging issues sure sound like a mechanical issue with the b-flys/gear leverage...
There have been posts from people making contrary statements...forget which board though...supposedly a number of TX shops have had good results..
I'll bet you there are a certain combo of mods that make a diff...more than just "throttle repsonse" improvements which are often claimed, with or without dyno data.
Everyone wants to be the Judge...[sm=icon_blah.gif].
I enjoy the view from the fence with my buddy John [sm=alcoholic.gif].
